Summary
Background
Lunasa Leather creates heritage grade leather carryables from the best leather in the world, sourced from the most environmentally responsible tanneries in the world, while honoring the animals and people at the source.
When Lunasa Leather founder - Iris Asher - decided to branch out on her own, she already had a brand name and a vision for her new logo. She approached MGalen Design for an outside eye and a technical hand.
Challenge
Being in a collaborative design process with a key stakeholder requires great listening, communication, and patience. We love working collaboratively, supporting someone else’s lead, and holding space for experimentation. We sought to give support, gently provide design feedback, and be unattached to our ideas.
Results
The final logo is beautiful! We are so happy with the result, as is Lunasa founder Iris. It utilizes the L’s of the name, while referencing the natural elements, resonant with the top quality leather Lunasa sources for their handmade carryables.
